                   	     ORDINANCE NO. 10622
                  
                  
                   AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING A PORTION OF SURPLUS
                   RIGHT-OF-WAY IDENTIFIED AS THE SOUTH SIDE OF
                   EAST 40TH STREET FROM TENNESSEE AVENUE TO
                   PIROLA STREET, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby
         abandoned a portion of surplus railroad right-of-way along the
         south side of East 40th Street as more particularly described 
in
         Exhibit 1 attached hereto.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
